The Change We Create Together
Malda, 2024–25: In a year marked by dedication and community spirit, Team Save Life Foundation has continued to touch lives and bring hope to those who need it the most.
Thalassemia Awareness Drives
In 2024–25, Team Save Life Foundation strengthened its fight against thalassemia through awareness campaigns across Malda and nearby areas. Our volunteers reached more than 1,80,000 people and families, explaining the importance of early testing, genetic counseling, and prevention. Sessions were held in schools, community centers, and villages, making complex medical information simple and easy to understand.
In a region with no dedicated thalassemia care unit and just one blood bank, awareness becomes the first line of defense. These drives helped parents and young people learn how timely screening can prevent generations from suffering. Every time a family steps forward for a test after an awareness camp, it validates our mission. Knowledge is saving lives, and our efforts are creating a ripple effect of responsible action and hope.

Blood Donation Camps
Team Save Life Foundation organized several blood donation camps in Malda and surrounding areas during 2024–25. With over 1,500 donors, we collected 2,300 units of blood, ensuring that patients battling thalassemia, accident victims, and others in need did not wait helplessly during emergencies. Each camp was conducted with proper medical supervision to ensure donor safety.
Blood donation is an act of solidarity, and these camps helped foster a culture of voluntary giving. Each unit collected represents someone’s second chance at life. By connecting donors and patients, we create a chain of kindness that strengthens the healthcare system. These drives continue to build awareness, making blood donation a habit and a source of community pride in Malda.

Free Oxygen Supply
Breathing should never be a privilege, yet during crises many families in Malda struggle to afford oxygen. To fill this critical gap, Team Save Life Foundation operates a 24×7 free oxygen supply service. This year, we provided 340 oxygen cylinders to patients fighting for life. Volunteers delivered cylinders to homes and hospitals, often during night-time emergencies.
This initiative is more than medical support; it’s about restoring hope. Families express that these cylinders gave them strength in their darkest hours. Each delivery carries compassion, ensuring that no one feels abandoned when every breath counts. For a region with limited health infrastructure, this support has been a lifesaving intervention that brings relief, courage, and a fighting chance to recover.

Patient Care and Support
Illness impacts families far beyond medical costs, and we have seen how emotional and financial struggles make recovery harder. This year, 270 patients and families benefited from our patient care and support program. We helped with medical consultations, financial aid, travel arrangements, and counseling.
Our volunteers stand beside families when they need guidance most. Whether it’s filling hospital forms, arranging medicines, or simply offering emotional strength, we try to be that helping hand. Each patient’s journey is unique, but our aim is constant: to make sure no one feels alone. This initiative adds a human touch to healthcare in Malda, replacing fear with support and uncertainty with comfort.

Nutritious Meals and Community Care
Hunger weakens both body and mind, so we started meal distribution for families in need and patients in hospitals. This year, over 12,000 nutritious meals were served across Malda and nearby areas. Meals were prepared and distributed by volunteers who care deeply for the community.
A meal is simple, but its impact is powerful. For many families, it removes the burden of arranging food during hard times. These meals bring relief and a sense of dignity, showing that someone cares. Beyond nutrition, it is our way of sharing hope, reminding people that they are not alone in their struggles.

Free Ambulance Services
In medical emergencies, every minute is precious. Team Save Life Foundation provided 420 free ambulance services during 2024–25, ensuring that patients reached hospitals and blood banks on time. Our service is available day and night, bridging the gap for those unable to afford private transportation.
For rural families around Malda, this service is often the difference between timely care and irreversible loss. Volunteers accompany patients, giving them confidence during stressful situations. Each trip is a testament to our mission: no one should be denied medical help because of distance or financial challenges.
